so i have this friend, let's call them Alex. we've been friends since college, now working at the same place. always had these feelings for Alex though never knew how to act on it. one night after work i got drunk and mustered up the courage to tell Alex i liked them as more than a friend. thought they might feel the same way, but instead they just kind of looked confused and awkwardly patted my back saying we should stay friends. have been avoiding eye contact since then.
