I Spilled My Crush's Coffee

So yesterday during lunch, I was sitting at my desk in the library trying to look busy so nobody would talk to me. Out of nowhere, this girl from my class - let’s call her Jane - walked by and I couldn’t help but notice how her hair looked today. It reminded me of a soft caramel bar (yes, food metaphors for crushes are cliché, but it's true). Suddenly, she turned around with a coffee in hand and, like a complete klutz, I knocked into her tray while trying to look cool and not stare at her hair anymore. Coffee went everywhere - on me, my books, and worst of all, on Jane’s homework. We ended up laughing about it for a bit, but now every time I see her, I just feel embarrassed and guilty. I really hope she doesn’t think I’m a total disaster magnet because seriously, who spills coffee on purpose?
