at work

so last night i was at work and saw this old colleague who used to give me such a hard time back in the day. we both work different shifts but tonight our paths crossed. i knew if i said hi she would just be all smug like always so i pretended not to see her. then later when i went for my break, there was her with some new coworkers and they were laughing and stuff. i felt so petty thinking about it but i couldn't help myself and texted an old friend of mine a super exaggerated version of the encounter to make myself feel better. i mean she probably doesn't even think twice about me anymore but i still can't shake this little victory feeling.
