I'm Not Always Working When You Think I Am

Hey there, folks! Freelancer here and yes, I do work from home. But hear me out, you might not always be seeing the real deal when it comes to my work hours. See, sometimes I get a call or a message while I'm chilling on the couch, watching Netflix with some popcorn. And rather than admit that I was just taking a break (because who doesn't deserve one?), I'll tell them I’m in a super deep meeting or dealing with some pressing deadlines. It’s not exactly lying, but it sure isn’t the whole truth either. The funny thing is, as much as I feel a little guilty about fibbing, there's also a part of me that feels kinda proud for being able to get away with it without anyone knowing! After all, taking time off every once in a while is just part of staying sane when you work from home.
