The New Neighbor Who Took Over My Mind

So, my parents moved us to this new city last month, and there was this guy... let's call him Alex... who lived right next door. The first time he helped me move in with boxes, I felt all kinds of weird... Like, butterflies but also like 'Oh god, stop it!' And then one day I walked past his apartment and saw him talking to some friends on the porch... I kept staring for so long that I accidentally dropped my bag of groceries... Not cool. But yeah, every time I see Alex now, there's this knot in my stomach... It's like he took up residence in my mind as well as my new neighborhood. Is it just me being extra?
