i lied about my age

so i recently went on a date with this guy from work, you know how it goes. we both kinda flirted and he asked me out finally. when the day came, i was so nervous that i accidentally said to him, 'so where do u think is a good place for people in their 30s to go?' yea, i'm actually 45 but just saying this made me feel way younger than that. now we've been dating casually and he still calls us twentysomethings. it's nice to feel like that again, even if it isn't true. is everyone lying about their age on dates? i know i shouldn't have done it but does it matter?
