First Day Jitters and Mistakes

Hey everyone! So, I've had my first day of work as the new sales associate at SuperMart Electronics. I was super excited because they sold everything from smartphones to drones, but let's just say it didn't go as planned. First off, I walked into work wearing sneakers instead of my nice black loafers because I mixed up what day it was, rookie mistake! Then, I tried to help a customer who wanted a specific model phone that we were out of stock on. Instead of double-checking the inventory or asking for help from a senior staff member, I just guessed and ended up giving her incorrect information. She looked pretty frustrated when she found out, but luckily another salesperson was able to assist her after me. Oh, and lunch break? I accidentally walked in thinking it had started five minutes before it actually did, so I scarfed down my salad way too fast. After that, the manager gave me a friendly talk about paying attention to important details like restocking and inventory checks. All in all, not a disaster but definitely not the smooth start I was hoping for! Still excited though!
