I Broke My Own Rule About Sharing Secrets

I've always been the one who keeps secrets safe in my family. I swear to myself that I'll never betray a confidence, but last night, I couldn't resist telling everyone at dinner about how my big sister Anna secretly binge-watches reality TV shows. It's funny because she acts so high-brow and snobby all the time. But why did I do it? Was it just for revenge or out of spite? Or was it a way to level the playing field since she always seems to have control over family secrets? I feel terrible now, but maybe I've set us up for a more honest relationship.
