The Great Prank Gone Wrong
Anonymous Cheeky Gossip #824 · General
I swear, I didn't mean for it to turn out like this. My friend Alex and I decided to pull a prank on our history professor during office hours by playing a loop of the 'Jeopardy!' theme song every time he tried to speak. It seemed harmless enough at first, just a little payback for the countless pop quizzes we've had to suffer through. But as soon as we hit play and saw his face turn red with frustration, I knew something was wrong. The thing is, when you're in college and studying history, your professor's lectures are gold. They can change how you look at everything, especially if the guy has a knack for making ancient events seem relevant today. But our little prank went from bad to worse when other students caught on and started joining in. Suddenly, it wasn't just about getting back at one professor but every strict teacher we've ever had. Now I'm sitting here wondering how something so stupid could have spiraled out of control like that. Sure, the laughs were good for a few minutes, but as history students, our goal should be learning and respecting those who teach us, not undermining their authority with cheap jokes. The worst part? We still need this guy's recommendation letter for grad school applications next year.
