Forgot My Own Birthday

I swear I didn't plan this, but here's how it happened. Last week was my birthday and for some reason, I just completely spaced on the date. I mean, I knew somewhere in my head that it was coming up, but when everyone else remembered before me and started sending out those 'Happy early Birthday' messages, I had to scramble to catch up. So, yeah, I ended up messaging a few people back saying 'Hey, totally forgot today was the day! Thanks so much!' But now, I'm left wondering how many people thought I was just being really weirdly late with my responses. Guess it's time for some heartfelt apologies and explanations.
