I Am So Not Into Cacti Now

You know that feeling when something is just so trendy and you start seeing it everywhere, but deep down you're like, 'What is this even?' Yeah, I’m talking about cacti. They’re all over the place now, cactus-themed mugs, pillows, stickers, and everyone’s obsessed with these prickly plants. My friend gave me one last week for my birthday because apparently it's low maintenance and perfect for someone like me who tends to forget when she watered her last plant. But seriously, what was she thinking? I barely even like the way they look! It’s not just the needles that freak me out, it’s also how everyone acts like these things are some kind of desert royalty. And don’t get me started on the whole 'water every two weeks' advice, I’m in nursing, and let's be real, most people forget to hydrate their plants properly. So yeah, my new hobby is avoiding all the cactus-themed nonsense and hoping the plant kingdom decides I'm not its biggest fan.
