When Life Feels Like a Never-Ending To-Do List
Anonymous Suspicious Wallflower #268 · General
I've been feeling like my life is just one endless list of chores and responsibilities. Work demands all my energy, leaving me with barely enough to cook dinner or fold laundry. My friends tell me I need to take better care of myself, but it feels like every time I try, something else comes up that I should be doing instead. Like last night, when I had plans to go for a run, but ended up calling my mom because she needed help with her car. Now I'm second-guessing if this is just how life always feels for everyone or if there's some way out of the rut I've found myself in. Is it normal to feel like you're stuck on autopilot? Or should I be pushing back harder against all these little duties and carving out more time for me? It seems so selfish, yet I'm starting to wonder if I have no choice.
