Disobeying Orders

Boss told me flat out not to touch that old report on my desk. Told him it was dusty and outdated but he just said leave it alone. Couldn't help myself, opened it up. Inside were notes from ten years ago about a big mistake I made and how they helped clean it up quietly so no one knew. Started reading it like a juicy novel, couldn’t put down the drama. Realized my heart was racing because now everyone knows my dirty little secret if they ever read this report. But seriously, why does dust make things more appealing? Was I just being silly or do others sneak into off-limits places for no reason sometimes too?
