Spilled Soda on Myself During a Busy Shift

So I was at work yesterday, manning the checkout line like usual. Things were hopping; there was this constant stream of people who either wanted to get out before closing time or just had last-minute shopping needs. Amidst all that chaos, I'm trying to bag groceries and scan items as fast as possible without breaking into a nervous sweat. Then it happened, I turned my head for a split second to grab some extra bags when this mom holding her kid's juice box stumbled right next to me. The poor thing toppled over like she was caught in a sudden gust of wind, and the next thing I knew, there was this cold splash all down my front. Great timing, huh? Just what you need during rush hour. I tried not to make a scene, grabbed some napkins from behind me (which, by the way, now every customer who walked by got an eyeful), and made it to the bathroom before anyone could see how soaked I was. But let's be real, there's only so much you can hide in that little space. So here's my question: is this kind of thing normal for retail workers? Or do I just attract disaster like a magnet?
