New City Blues

So I moved here like two weeks ago and still feel so out of place. Yesterday at the grocery store, there was this super cute cashier who looked at me funny when I couldn't find aisle 10 for canned tuna (it's always behind the milk in my old city). Instead of asking a nearby employee for help like a normal person would, I just stood there with my groceries staring at the ceiling like I'm some kind of stalker. Ended up grabbing the wrong brand of tuna anyway. I swear I’m turning into one of those people who can't function without their usual environment. Feeling pretty guilty about being such an idiot in front of this nice-looking cashier, but honestly, maybe next time I'll just ask a stranger where stuff is instead of playing it cool.
