Older Me Has A Thing

So there's this guy named Mike from the gym who's probably in his late 20s or early 30s. He works out often and we've struck up some small talk over time. I like him a lot, but it’s embarrassing because I'm in my 50s and have been for decades. Sometimes when he smiles at me, I get all tingly inside. This is ridiculous. It's not like anything could ever happen between us anyway. My kids think I'm joking when I mention this stuff, but they don't know how much it really means to me, or how awkward it feels. Oh, and my friend's grandkids call him 'cool uncle Mike' now. That might be the last straw.
