That Time I Fudged My Report

Hey everyone, here's my secret from last week. I had to write up the weekly report for work and let me tell you, it was a total snooze fest. There wasn't much happening at all - just a few emails exchanged and one meeting that ended early because everyone felt like they were getting sleepy too. Now, in all honesty, reporting that would sound pretty boring and make me look like I didn't do anything, which isn't true - there are other things going on that aren’t quantifiable. So instead of detailing the uneventful days, I added a little flair to my report with some extra achievements. I put down finishing projects from previous weeks as accomplishments since they actually did get done this week but just didn't come in at the top of the agenda. Of course, nothing major - more like updating old files and sending out friendly reminders. Now it sounds like I’m productive and on top of my game! It feels a little naughty, but hey, who doesn’t love a good boost to their morale? And really, isn't everyone just a teeny bit guilty about fudging things here and there?
