new hobby is sad

just started learning guitar and i thought it would be fun but every time i play i get super homesick for when i was younger and could just sing along with my fav bands without stressing about making a mess of the chords. feels weird bcause its supposed to be cool right? but instead im all tangled up in nostalgia and cant stop wishing i had those carefree days back.
