My First Day at Work Wasn't What I Expected

So here's the thing, I started my first job last week, and it was nothing like what I thought it would be. When I woke up that morning, I was so excited, packed in fancy new clothes, and got to work early with my best pen and notebook for note-taking. But then I realized my outfit looked a bit too formal compared to everyone else who showed up wearing jeans and t-shirts! And they didn't have any orientation or training; I just walked in and was told to get started right away on some project. To make matters worse, the coffee machine didn't work for half an hour, I had to wait until my coworker showed me how to fix it by pushing a random button nobody could figure out. But despite all that, I'm trying to stay positive! Maybe things will go better next week? 🤞
