when i overreacted to the syrup guy

so yeah my coworker jess and im working back to back shifts at starbucks and she totally knows how i feel about her, we have this unspoken thing but its complicated cus shes married to someone else like an office cowork. anyways so one day she comes in during my shift and orders a latte with extra syrup and i was in the middle of making a different drink and i got super annoyed cus im always running behind on time. like i feel badcus shes not my direct manager but i still wanna make her happy as an employee, u know? so i made the drink quick and it wasnt too hot when i gave it to her but she says its wayyy too cold and that i must hate her or sumthin and gets super offended. idk why im always feeling bad like this cus its not my fault we have a sucky schedule and that shes married and stuff. anywya after that she starts giving me attitude for the rest of the week and now were not talking to each other at all. i feel really guilty but also kinda mad cuz i was doing good work before this whole thing started.
