First Day Jitters and More

Today was my first day at the new job. Everyone's smiling, but I feel like they're all looking at me funny. The coffee machine is this big intimidating beast that I couldn't figure out for an hour. I spilled hot coffee on myself in front of everyone too, oh boy... Now I'm late for a meeting and my boss seemed annoyed. Should I just fake sick tomorrow or something? Is it normal to feel like this every day? I know I should be happy, but honestly, I miss being at home with the cats and playing video games all day. Do you guys think I'll ever feel comfortable here?
