i got fired for this

so i was at work and we had this new boss who thought he knew everything, even though he barely spoke to the team. one day, he comes up with some weird rule about no snacks in the break room after 3 pm because it's too noisy eating crunchies late. i mean come on, that's ridiculous right? so i decide to protest by bringing in my biggest bag of potato chips at like 2:50 and munch away really loud until everyone else stops talking and looks annoyed. turns out he saw this and was super pissed. next day, i get called into his office for a meeting and he fires me on the spot over it. yeah it was kinda childish but who's laughing now? my team came to me afterward and said they were secretly cheering me on from afar.
