Another Boring Week at the Office

So last week was just the same old boring routine. Came to work early, did a bit of nothing here and there, chatted with colleagues about how much we all hate this place. We got some emails asking us to do something new again, but honestly who reads those things? Nobody cares. Anyway, Friday came around and my boss gives me the usual 'look busy' look. I just nod and pretend everything is fine, even though I know it's not. So I decide to take matters into my own hands and spend the afternoon watching cat videos on YouTube instead of pretending to work. My boss walks by a few times and I can see her getting more and more annoyed. But you know what? It felt great. Like, why should I pretend to do something when I could be enjoying myself with cute kitty cats instead? So even though she gave me that disappointed look at the end of the day, I didn't care. Maybe next week I'll watch dog videos or some silly comedy clips - whatever makes the time pass faster without feeling guilty about it. Was I wrong for doing this? Sure, but who cares? Life's too short to waste on boring stuff when you can have a laugh with funny animal videos.
