missed her flight

i missed my sister’s plane when i went to the airport yesterday. was late because of a work meeting that ran longer than expected. felt bad for her having to go through customs alone but she said everything went okay in the end. still wondering if i should’ve taken an hour off earlier and got there on time even though it meant rushing out of the office. feels like my bad planning put her through some extra hassle, though maybe being early would have caused more stress too with no real impact. just feel a bit guilty about not being there to meet her as we planned.
