my roommate thinks i’m great at cooking but every time i make dinner, i secretly add way too much salt

i’ve been keeping it under wraps but i secretly put waaaay more salt than necessary in all of my meals for my roommate. they keep telling me how good my food tastes... but honestly i can barely taste anything without a ton of seasoning. should i confess? am i the asshole here?
