Weekends Aren't What They Used To Be...

Sometimes I look back at the weekends when my kids were tiny and all they wanted was to play and cuddle. Those days seem like a different life now that the house is full of arguments over screen time and homework deadlines... It's not that I don't love them for who they are today, but there's this wistful part of me that misses those simpler times... They're growing up so fast, and while I'm grateful to watch them become independent thinkers and doers, it leaves a little ache in my heart. Part of me wonders what it would be like if we could go back to when life was just about making them laugh and helping them discover the world around them...
