Spilled Coffee on My Boss

Today was one of those days at work where everything goes wrong. I was rushing to fill a rush order when I accidentally knocked over an entire pot of steaming hot coffee right onto my boss's favorite new pair of slippers. He wasn't happy, and neither was I. But here’s the thing: it felt like karma coming back to me for all those times he made me stay late just because he wanted a specific type of espresso shot that only happens in his head. I cleaned up the mess as quickly as possible, but my boss couldn’t help being grumpy about it for hours. The funny part is, I ended up making him an extra-strong coffee with an extra shot just to cheer him up. In the end, he laughed and joked that maybe now he'll wear those slippers less often. It’s a good reminder though, next time I’ll be more careful or maybe bring my own footwear.
