A Hilarious Mix-Up at Work

I swear this was not my fault! I just got back from lunch and noticed something weird on the clipboard. It said 'Pills for Jane - 10mg,' but then I looked over at her chart and saw she needed something completely different. So, I double-checked everything, and that's when it hit me: someone had written in pen instead of pencil! Now, you know the rules around here, nothing gets changed unless it’s written with a No. 2 pencil. But what was I supposed to do? I couldn't just give Jane some random pills from my memory of her chart. So, I marched over to her room and explained everything. She laughed so hard she almost cried! Turns out she had a spare pen in her bag and scribbled down the real instructions without checking if it was pencil or not. We both ended up feeling pretty silly by the end of it, but at least no one got hurt. I hope this doesn't go on my permanent record!
