I never expected to be a gamer in my twilight years. One day, while visiting a grandchild’s home and seeing the Nintendo Switch lying around, I decided to give it a try out of curiosity. To my surprise, I loved playing Super Mario Odyssey. But here’s the thing: I’ve been sneaking gaming sessions every time I visit them. It’s funny because I’m always telling them they need more exercise while I spend hours sitting and pressing buttons. I feel guilty, but there’s something oddly comforting about it.
