My Kids' Messy Room

Yesterday, after cleaning my kids' room for the umpteenth time this week, I realized that they have their own system of 'organization'. Clothes scattered all over the floor and toys in a corner pile mean to them it's 'ready for donation'. I guess we should let go of some expectations? Or is there an age when they should start picking up after themselves?
