Baking Bread Failed but I Still Love It

So, I started baking bread this week. At first, it seemed easy enough, I mean, mix some flour and water and yeast together, let it rise, shape it into a loaf, bake it... how hard could it be? Turns out, harder than I thought. My kitchen turned into a disaster zone pretty quickly. The dough was everywhere, from the counters to under my shoes. And then there's the smell, suddenly my place smelled like sour milk instead of fresh bread. But despite the mess and stink, something about it all is oddly comforting. It’s like when you’re trying so hard to make something good happen that everything goes wrong in the funniest way possible. I guess my point is, even though my first loaf was a complete failure, I’m still hooked on this hobby. Maybe next time, things will turn out better? Or maybe it’ll be another disaster with a silver lining.
