My Secret Artistic Outing

Last weekend, I snuck out of my house at midnight to go paint on a public mural wall downtown. It was the first time I had felt truly inspired in months, and it was as if the city's energy breathed life into my brushstrokes. However, this escapade left me with more questions than answers: why did I feel compelled to break curfew just to express myself? Does creating art outside the lines make it more authentic or less disciplined? What does it say about my creative process when I need such unconventional methods to fuel my passion? Anyone else ever sneak out to create something they couldn't elsewhere?
