i am such a tattle tale sometimes

ok so i’m studying for my phd and we have this really cool professor named dr kim who everyone loves. but one day she walked into the classroom wearing jeans with holes in them and like totally ripped up at her knees, it looked super weird. now normally i wouldn’t say anything about that kind of thing because honestly what does it matter, right? it’s none of my business if someone wears holey pants to work. but then later on i saw one of our class officers in the hallway and couldn’t help but blurt out how odd dr kim looked that day. the officer was all “oh really?” like i’d just pointed out the queen was wearing no clothes or something, and suddenly they were telling everyone else about it too. now don’t get me wrong, dr kim is amazing at her job and super nice to us students but sometimes my mouth runs away with me and i say things i shouldn’t. like if someone told me that dr kim wears holey jeans all the time because she can’t afford new ones i would feel awful for having said anything. so yeah turns out i’m kind of a tattle tale when it comes to tiny details, but who isn’t sometimes? i do try not to be one though.
