My Art is Too Good For Those Snobs...

So I've been painting these abstract pieces for my upcoming art show at the local gallery. They're bold, they're vibrant, and they're meant to challenge perceptions. The kind that makes people think and talk. But apparently, the snooty curator from the gallery thinks she's got too much say in what 'good' art looks like. She kept hinting I should tone down my stuff or risk not having enough space for me in her little clique of cookie-cutter artists who all paint the same damn thing... But guess what, I wasn't having any of that BS. So instead of following her stale rules, I decided to take matters into my own hands. The night before the opening, I snuck back into the gallery and rehung a few pieces in spots where she had them stashed away. I picked a couple from other artists who weren't part of her favored group too... I figured if they could afford to buy it, they would appreciate something unique and bold instead of another predictable landscape painting or oil portrait of someone's grandmother... The gallery will probably throw me out for this but screw them really. Maybe I'll just find a new venue, one that appreciates the risk-taking and creativity my art represents... So yeah, I'm proud I stood up to her and showed those people something they weren't expecting at all....
