I'm Not Always Honest With My Parents About Homework

So, I kinda fibbed to my parents about my homework the other day. They asked me if I was done with that history assignment from school and I said yeah because it seemed easier than telling them I hadn't even started. I felt bad lying but also wanted them off my back for a bit longer. Now though, every time they ask about homework, all I can think is 'they know I'm not being honest,' which is stressing me out way more than the actual assignment ever would have been.
