I Lied About Doing My Homework

So, I did this thing last week that’s been gnawing at me ever since. We had a huge group project in my biology class, and I honestly just couldn’t keep up with all the work. There was this one part about DNA replication I was supposed to lead for our presentation tomorrow. But when everyone asked how it was going, I lied! I told them I had it under control. In reality, I only read a little bit from Wikipedia. It’s not like my friends are morons or anything; they probably figured something out since then. But here I am, sweating over all the lies and hoping no one calls me out on it during our presentation tomorrow. What if everyone knows I cheated them? Maybe they’ll think less of me for lying. This is such a small thing, but it’s been eating at me ever since.
