That Time I Spilled Cocktails All Over My Boss’s New Suit

So yeah, last Friday was a pretty hectic night. It's like, every time there's live music at The Rusty Spoon, the whole bar gets extra busy. Anyway, this guy comes in looking all sharp and professional, I’m guessing it was his first time here, not really our usual crowd. I notice him right away because everyone else is just wearing jeans and t-shirts or something casual like that. And he’s got on a perfectly pressed suit. I swear to God, the guy even has those cuff links with initials engraved in them. So I’m busy behind the bar, making cocktails for all these people who just want their usual go-to drinks and they don’t mind if it’s a little fast or a little sloppy. But this gentleman is asking for something special, this fancy old-school cocktail that takes some time to make, so I tell him I’ll get right on it. I’m juggling all these other orders in my head and just as I pour the last drop of his drink, there’s an extra hand comes into play. And guess who? This new person at the bar is actually my boss! He’s just arrived to check out how things are going since he hadn’t been here for a few weeks because of his big conference in New York or something like that. So here I am trying to finish up this fancy cocktail, and BOOM! I miss the glass by an inch, splashing everything all over my boss’s brand new suit. It was the worst kind of embarrassment. And he just looks at me with these eyes, kind of shocked but also understanding because he knows we’ve been swamped for weeks now. But still... So here’s my question: Is it okay to laugh this off? I mean, after all, everyone has those nights when something goes wrong in the middle of a busy shift, right? Or should I just stay completely serious and offer to buy him an entirely new suit out of pocket? What would you do if you were me?
