...Oopsie at Work...

So today at work this big mishap happened... I was in the middle of a meeting when my phone started ringing loudly. It got so distracting that I just picked it up without even checking who it was... Turns out, it was from HR asking me to confirm some details for my yearly review. And because I wasn't thinking straight, I told them I needed another week off to deal with a family emergency... Oops. Now I'm stressing about how to backtrack and explain it didn't actually happen. Maybe they'll think the whole family is exaggerating...
