The Great Diaper Dilemma

So, here's this thing I've been meaning to confess. You know how sometimes you just don't feel like dealing with something? Well, the other day when it was diaper-changing time for little Timmy (he’s my 2-year-old), I kind of... got distracted. I mean, what can I say, the TV was on and there was this cool documentary about penguins waddling around in Antarctica. And Timmy's just happy as long as he's comfy. So I thought, 'Well, maybe if I sneak in a few more minutes of quality penguin time, it'll all be okay.' Little did I know that distraction would turn into 30 minutes (okay, let's not pretend, probably closer to an hour) of me glued to the TV while Timmy was making himself at home on the floor with who knows what. And you know how parents are supposed to keep a close eye on everything? Yeah, not today. I'll just blame it all on penguins. They make us feel better about our choices, don't they?
