Spilled the Beans on My Crush

Tonight was supposed to be just another night at work. But then Sally from accounting walked in with her usual order, a mojito that she never drinks and always tips heavily. I’ve had a crush on her for months, but every time I try to say something, my throat closes up like someone’s squeezing it shut. Tonight though? Well, tonight after mixing up the mojitos, hers without rum by mistake, I found myself rambling about how long I've admired her work ethic and how she’s always smiling even when everyone else is stressed. She just laughed and told me to get back to work before my manager noticed. Now I’m standing here with a red face, wondering if that was the best way to confess my feelings for someone who clearly thinks of us as barista and customer. Guess I'll have to wait and see if she stops by again next week.
