I Lied About Cleaning My Room

My sisters are always nagging me to clean my room. I hate doing it because my space feels cluttered right after and it's like starting over again the next day. So last week, when Mom asked me about cleaning up, I said I had already done it even though I hadn't. It felt so wrong at the time, but also kind of good to get away with fibbing for a bit. Now every time I walk past my room and see all the junk, I feel sick to my stomach. Should have just cleaned it. What am I going to do about it? Maybe confess later? Or just stay quiet and hope they never find out.
