My Secret Order Habit

I know this sounds silly, but I’ve developed a weird habit at work. Every time my favorite customer comes in and orders their usual, a double-shot espresso with room for cream, I can’t help but get nervous and spill the milk on myself while making it. It’s like my hands turn into these clumsy things every single time! I mean, yeah, they always joke about how I’m always ‘pouring’ too much attention on them or something equally cheesy. But seriously, sometimes I feel like if I could just focus, maybe I wouldn’t slip up so often. And yes, I’ve thought about switching to pre-made bottles of cream for this specific order, but it feels wrong somehow. Like that would mean I’m giving up on ever getting the pour right.
