Bored at Work, Daydreaming about Spoons
Anonymous Guilty Busybody #232 · General
I'm having one of those weeks where everything feels like a slow-motion disaster. I haven't even finished this report yet and my coffee ran out two hours ago. Every minute ticks by slower than the last, and every email is just another reason to stare off into space. So today, in the quiet lull between important meetings (there aren't any), I started daydreaming about spoons. Not normal spoons, mind you. Spoons that can do anything, fly to the moon, tell jokes, play rock-paper-scissors with forks. A spoon army taking over the world while everyone else is too busy staring at their screens to notice. It got so bad I almost wrote a memo to my boss about the dangers of spoon supremacy in our kitchenette. But then common sense, or sheer boredom, kicked in, and I realized I just needed coffee and maybe a walk outside before I really lose it.
