Why Did I Do This?

So here’s something that really doesn’t make sense to me. A few weeks ago, I cleaned out my garage and found an old box of clothes from when I was in college. Just for fun, I tried on one of my old suits and it fit like a glove! Impressed with myself, I went to a formal event the next day wearing this nostalgic outfit instead of my usual business suit. But then I got super nervous all night, worrying everyone would know how out-of-place I felt in this old-fashioned get-up. Why did I do that? It was just an impulse, but now I can’t stop thinking about it.
