Shift Supervisor Gone Wild

So here's the thing, I'm a night-shift worker at a warehouse, and we've got a new shift supervisor named Mike who joined us about six months ago. The first few weeks were fine; he was actually quite nice and kept everything running smoothly. But then, one day out of nowhere, he decides to change all our break times and shift rotations because he wants us to do things his way. Now, I'm not the most talkative person in the world, but when something's bugging me, it bugs me. And let me tell you, this guy has been a real pain point for everyone on my team. We've all tried talking to him, but he always brushes us off and justifies his decisions with some bureaucratic crap. But here's where things get interesting: one night, I'm having trouble focusing because the warehouse lights are too bright. Mike comes over, starts giving me grief about how I'm not working fast enough, and tells me to take my break now. Fine, I say, if you insist. So I head off for a quick walk outside in the cool air, that's always helped me clear my mind. But guess what? As soon as Mike thinks I've taken my break, he starts micromanaging everyone else on the team even more than usual, pushing them to work harder and faster. By 4 AM, the entire crew is exhausted and stressed out beyond belief. I know it sounds petty, but when we're all in the break room together after our shift ends at dawn, I just couldn't take it anymore. I went up to Mike, looked him square in the eye (he's like a foot taller than me), and said, 'Mike, you've been acting like this place is your personal playground since you got here. If you're going to treat us all like robots without any human decency or compassion, then maybe it’s time for someone higher up to take a look at how you’re running things.' He didn't seem too pleased with that. I know there might be consequences down the line, but hey, if one of your co-workers is ruining morale and making everyone's lives miserable because they want to play God, shouldn't something get done about it? So my question for all you readers out there, am I being overly dramatic here, or do other people think Mike needs a reality check?
