I'm Jealous of My Sibling's Friendship with Mom and Dad

Hey there everyone! So I have this really weird feeling lately. You see, my sister is always getting the most attention from our parents, and it's making me feel a bit envious. She's got this special bond with them where they go out for ice cream together or watch silly movies late at night. Meanwhile, all I ever get is ‘How was your day?’ when we’re already sitting down to dinner. It’s not that I don’t love my sister or our parents, I really do, but sometimes it feels like there’s a part of me they just don’t see. Like these past few weeks, Dad has been teaching her how to change the oil in his car! That’s cool and all, but why can't we spend time on something that interests both of us? I mean, Mom knows I’ve got this big passion for gardening... Am I overthinking everything here or is it normal to feel a bit left out when you’re not the one getting extra attention from your parents? Should I talk to them about how I feel?
