Coding Mistakes

I spent hours last night debugging what seemed like an impossible bug only to realize it was because I forgot a semicolon in one line of code. How did this happen? My mind just went blank for that moment, and now I feel so silly. But then again, even experienced engineers make these kinds of mistakes sometimes. Maybe the real issue is my lack of attention to detail lately.
