I Stole My Teacher's Special Markers to Save Class Art Day

So yeah, let me start from the beginning because this is one for the books. Last Friday was supposed to be our school's annual Art Appreciation day, where every class does some kind of project to learn about famous artists and their works. But Mrs. Thompson had ordered these super cool glitter markers a month ago and they never arrived in time for today's project on Van Gogh's Starry Night. She looked so disappointed when she told us about the missing supplies right before the bell rang. And I couldn't stand it, you know? I love Art Appreciation day as much as anyone else here at school, but we were totally going to miss out on some sweet art time just because of a couple dozen markers not showing up in her mailbox on time. So after Mrs. Thompson left the room, I saw she had a big box of supplies sitting by the window, that's when I spotted them. They were the very glittery markers we needed to finish off our Starry Night paintings! I knew if I told her about it then she would freak out and think someone from outside the school snatched them or something, but those boxes looked like they had been there since she ordered them. So yeah, while everyone else was packing up their stuff to go home, I quickly grabbed six of the special glittery markers, just enough for our class. Nobody saw me take them except my best friend Tyler who gave me this weird look when he noticed what I did, but he didn't say anything either. And we finished off the painting with those beautiful sparkles on it too. The next day Mrs. Thompson was super happy that all of us had completed our projects nicely and told us how much she appreciated all of us working hard together to make Art Appreciation Day special. She had no idea they were still in her room and I doubt anyone will ever find out because we used them up already. Maybe next time the art supplies store won't mess up an order like this one, but either way, when it comes down to doing what's best for our class or sitting on my hands waiting for someone else to figure it out, I'll do whatever needs to be done.
