New Knitting Hobby? Really?

Started knitting a month ago because everyone said it was relaxing and stuff. Figured I'd give it a shot to see if the hype is real. First thing I made: a scarf for my cat. Spoiler alert: she hates it, but I love how it turned out. Now every time someone compliments me on my cool new hobby, I feel like an idiot and want to crawl under a rock.
