Spilled Coffee on My Boss's Lap

Today was a typical morning rush at the café. I was serving behind the counter when Sarah walked in with her usual grande iced latte, no sugar. As I handed it to her, my hand slipped and spilled hot coffee right into her lap. Her eyes widened as she jumped back, but she didn't yell or anything. She just looked down at herself and sighed. After cleaning up the mess, Sarah came over with a stack of towels to dry off her clothes. It was an awkward moment, but I suppose it could have been worse, maybe if my boss had been there instead. That’s one for the books.
